2000:
sloan is born on 29 march in derry, northern ireland. her parents met while her father was on a semester abroad in korea and they later settled back in derry as her mother's family didn't approve of the relationship. she is the middle child and her younger sister is born in 2004.
2004-2011:
she attends a mixed gender catholic primary school and is regularly bullied and teased about being the only mixed race child in the year group. the school is also incredibly strict with discipline and the nuns do not fear caning misbehaving children. her parents relationship is starting to dissolve, with her father regularly absent from her home since he is on 'business trips'.
2011-2016:
her mother and father find themselves to be no longer compatible, with the secret that sloan's father had been cheating on her mother with one of his childhood friends coming to light and proving to be the icing on a very sad cake. they divorce. sloan's complex mental health issues caused by her personality disorder start to surface but go untreated as both her parents (especially her mother) believe she's just acting out and is being attention seeking on purpose.sloan continues to act out along with her behaviour at school deteriorating significantly and as a result her mother, unable to deal with her any longer, ships her off to korea to attend an even stricter catholic boarding school against her will in the hopes that this will straighten her out.
2016-2022:
at boarding school she meets nabi and very quickly bonds with her, with the latter becoming one of her dearest and only friends in korea. her mother's hopes of boarding school smoothing out the kinks in her behaviour are fruitless as sloan only grows more wild as the years go on, especially after leaving school.she moves in with her distant aunt after boarding school since she has nowhere else to go. her relationship with her aunt is rocky at best and she's eventually sent out to live on her own, a feat that she initially finds challenging since she has barely any money and not a lot of solid friendships. in her past time she uses learning music production software and making songs as an escape from everything else that is troubling her. she eventually moves into her own apartment with nabi and korie.by late 2019 she is uploading songs to her tiktok which garners her enough attention to continue making and releasing contenct and by early 2020 her music career starts to take off - she has also started to release music on spotify. she realises how adored, popular and idolised she could be and her dream is now to become a signed artist to some music label and be a household name. this dream starts to take shape after her first album release which garners a decent amount media attention and social media buzz.
2023:
her career and social life are going from strength to strength and sloan is starting to feel as if she is invincible. she has been signed to axis entertainment in korea but is yet to make her official debut under them as an artist. she is working on her upcoming album.sloan is almost killed while creating a song with a producer she knows who is, unbeknownst to her, a vampire. he bites her and is close to ending her life completely but turns her so she doesn't die, showing her delusions of how popular and famous she could be this way to stop her from completely freaking out. this transition from human to vampire is proving for difficult for her to come to terms with and is taking a lot of getting used to, although the voice in the back of her head is telling her it's better this way if it means she can be even more famous.
